The Client

The Problem

A complex type of sale

Selling a custom-made funerary monument such as a tombstone requires a certain technicality because a set of design rules must be followed. In the OGF group's agencies, this complexity could be a hindrance for funeral advisors who are not experts in stonemasonry. DemocratizeInternally, the sale of these monuments was therefore a major issue for the development of the business. 

Furthermore, branch customers often only had one sample marble and a catalogue photo for imagine the final resultwhich did not facilitate sales.

Our solutions

The dual learning path: Expert vs. Pre-configured

The Industrial Configurator technology allowed us to create a 3D configurator funerary monuments with a double entrance: 

A proposal with visuals and dimensioned plans

Several documents are generated by the CPQ configurator after configuration: a proposal including a exploded view of the monument, of the side plans and a Good Drawing of the engraving as well as technical deliverables intended for the sales department and manufacturing.

Synchronizations with the ERP

A crucial point of the project: the rates and the characteristics rooms and monuments have been synchronized with the base Oracle infrastructures OGF to avoid re-entry and ensure data consistency across the network 1200 agencies
